Fundamentals
Growing without soil follows its own internal logic, one most people never learn because they never had to. In soil, a lot of the work happens without you noticing: the earth itself buffers pH, humus releases nutrients gradually, and microorganisms break down organic matter into forms roots can actually absorb. Take the soil away, and all of that becomes your job. The system stops helping you. You take over control, and that’s the whole point. The articles in this category explain how that control works, before you need to use it.
